Yeah that is absolutely true! My uncle is like that as well! Sometimes I feel these Bobbys are really just a pain but sometimes (more often than not) it is sad, that no one tries to understand why he is that way… even in the family.
I can absolutely see that perspective as well. I think a lot of the time, it’s the black sheep of the family that try to be edgy and funny. Because if they can’t conventionally fit in, then at least they can entertain.
I don’t have a “Bobby” who’s exactly like this in my family, but I do have an uncle who is very charismatic and always talking with his dry sense of humor. Turned out, he was cheating and being creepy with my cousin’s friends.
